Myung ok Kim

I recently graduated at Academy of Art University in San Francisco with BFA in Stop-Motion Animation. I feel fortunate to be a stop-motion animator and a puppet fabricator because giving a soul and a life to puppets is the most inspiring experience I've ever had. I love creating things with my hands and making people smile, that's why I love stop-motion animation.

I'm currently working at Starburns Industries in Burbank, CA as a Puppet Fabrication Intern. We are working on Charlie Kaufman's first animated movie Anomalisa.

Previously, I interned at Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco as an Education Intern, teaching children about animation and helping them create their own stop-motion movies with clay and armatures. Also, I volunteered at Cartoon Art Museum as an assistant for their Saturday Cartooning Classes for children.

My passion is to share my love of art, always be creative and inspired by life.
